In 1980 Mr. Giberti became the first man in the world to discover a method for processing garlic paste. He founded Gia as a small family business in the fertile agricultural area of Emilia Romagna shortly thereafter and began manufacturing garlic paste in tubes. The company gradually extended its range of pastes with the aim of providing consumers with quality convenient products.
Gia pastes are made from carefully selected fresh ingredients, many of which are grown locally in Emilia Romagna. These authentic recipes are time consuming to make at home in the traditional way and Gia pastes provide all the quality and flavour of home- made and none of the work.
