These rules and regulations help ensure compatibility with local residents, as well as with cultural, heritage, tourism, navigation and other values. With their own processing facilities within two hours boats travel of the farms on the west coast of Vancouver island, freshness is assured as it takes less than twenty-four hours between the farm and Lions Gate Fisheries distribution center in Ladner, British Columbia.
