Checkmate Micromesh MX series is a reinforcement geogrid made of precision knitted Polyester (PET) with black PVC saturation coating. This Micromesh provides high positive mechanical interlock with the soils and also maintains high permeability. Micromesh can be regarded as an isotropic bi-axial geogrid with equal Tensile strength in both machine (MD) and cross machine (XD) directions. In addition the Micromesh series is flexible, enhances vegetative growth along with UV stability and long-term durability. Micromesh MX bi-axial geogrids are used as a face wrap material for steepened slopes and provide excellent surface erosion protection. The Micromesh MX series is engineered to be mechanically and chemically stable, in both harsh construction installation phase and in aggressive soil environments (pH level 2.0 – 12.0). Flexgrids are biologically unaffected by soil micro –organisms. A black PVC saturation coating provides further chemical, mechanical, as well as ultraviolet protection.
