Overall the Skyline Operations Control Center is a communication tool that provides up-to-the-minute operational data in an easy to understand format. The main functions of the Skyline Operations Control Center is to perform:
- Monitoring and flight following
- Problem detection and resolution
- Message communication
The Skyline control center provides a scrollable chart to communicate operational aircraft movement. As the flight is in progress (as the schedule evolves) the color of the bar turns from white to either green (On-time), red (Delayed) or blue (Cancelled). Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is also displayed.
