What is Graston?
It is an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that is used to break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. Stainless steel instruments are moved along the surface where pain is located treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis, scar tissue formation and chronic inflammation.
How often do people get Graston treatment?
Patients usually receive two treatments per week over the same of 2 weeks. Normally you can expect 50-70 % improvement after 3 treatments. It is very common to experience discomfort during the procedure and bruising afterwards. This is a normal response and part of the healing process.
Who can have Graston done?
