Description
Functions:
Features:
Typical Applications:
System Components: The SE-105 requires a ground-check termination device (1N5339B included). A CT200 or CT200L current transformer is required for ground-fault protection.
IEEE Device Numbers: 3GC, 50G, 50N, 51G, 51N
- Monitors a portable power cable and detects ground-faults in the cable or connected equipment, open ground-check loop, and shorted ground-check loop
- Can be used as remote starter control
Features:
- Zener termination provides reliable ground-check-loop verification
- Hacksaw filter to prevent false ground-check verification
- Harmonic filter to prevent false ground-fault operation
- Loop-resistance calibration not required
- Ground-check circuit is fail-safe
- User-selectable ground-fault trip level and time delay
- Low open-circuit ground-check voltage is not a hazard to personnel
- LED indication of Power, Ground Fault and valid Ground Check
- Conforms to CSA Standard M421-00 Use of Electricity in Mines
- Selectable fail-safe (undervoltage) or non-fail-safe (shunt) operating mode
- Conformally coated circuit boards
- Five year warranty
- For fail-safe only applications, see SE-107
Typical Applications:
- Used for surface mines, underground mines, quarries, and submersible pumps
- Used on systems up to 5 kV
